The hair removal effect depends on the energy level. Pressing the outlet firmly against the skin can make follicles fall flat, getting closer to the high-energy light source. As a result, a better hair removal effect is realized.

Who should not use the device?

Contraindications:​​ Avoid using the product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; have skin diseases, sensitivities, or photosensitive areas; or have areas with uneven pigmentation such as wounds, scars, dark spots, birthmarks, tattoos, or stretch marks. The hairline is not a recommended treatment area. If in doubt, please refer to the instruction manual or contact customer service.

Is it necessary to shave before hair removal?

Shaving is Essential:​​ Shaving ensures that the light energy penetrates effectively to the hair follicle for optimal results. It is recommended to shave in a wet environment to avoid dry shaving. After shaving, wait at least 12 hours before the IPL treatment. If the skin feels dry, you can apply a moisturizer.

What care is needed after hair removal?

Post-Treatment Care:​​ For 6 hours after treatment, avoid sun exposure, hot water, saunas, and strenuous exercise. If your skin feels dry or warm, apply a soothing and moisturizing product, such as aloe vera gel. Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 24 hours to aid the skin's recovery process.

What care is needed after hair removal?
  1. Timing:​​ Perform the IPL treatment on the second day after shaving.
  2. First-Time Use:​​ Always start with the lowest intensity level. Conduct a patch test on a small area and wait 12 hours to confirm no adverse reaction before proceeding to full-body treatments.
  3. Treatment Technique:​​ Do not flash the same area more than once or twice per session.
  4. Soothing:​​ After the session, you may apply a cold compress for 2-3 minutes to help calm the skin.
  5. Facial Hair Removal:​​ It is advised to begin facial treatments only after 2 weeks of uneventful full-body use. Always use the lowest setting for the face initially to minimize the risk of sensitivity.
Why does the sapphire outlet fog up?
